Guess what came in the mail on Monday!!

Isn’t she lovely? She is Amy Butler’s “Daisy Chain” in grey.  I have been eyeing this fabric for our dining room ever since I chose Martha Stewart’s paint color in “Rainwater” for our walls.  Here’s my naked little window…sitting there all bare and stuff.

Ahh.  I LOVE that color on the wall…I seriously never tire of it.  Here’s another look at the other side of the room.  This is the view with my back to the window

Obviously taken at different times of the day.  Heck, different seasons! I just had to include the one with Jagger watching his little show because it cracks me up how he sits like a little bump on a log.  Anyway, we only have one window in this room, and being that we fancied up one side of the room, our window needed some definite dressing.  So in comes my fabric!  Like I said I’ve been eyeing this for awhile, so I really had time to search for the best price.  Everywhere I was looking it was turning out to be and average of $10/yrd, but I randomly searched on Etsy and found a store selling it for $7!  So I knew I had to jump on it this month! I have never sewn anything bigger than a pillow (anything well, at least), so this is going to be a nerve wracking project for me!  I can’t wait to get started, though!  It’s going to look so good…I hope!  I’ll keep y’all updated with the progress!
