Heart Glazed Cornmeal Cookies



When Momma gets down...Momma bakes.  And since today is the perfect day for an injection of cheer and love, I made these delicious Heart Glazed Cornmeal Cookies from the February issue of Everyday Food.  Although the recipe isn't online yet, this one is really close to the base recipe for the cookie.  Then all you do is press a small, heart shaped cookie cutter halfway through the flattened cookie.  After cooling, make a quick glaze using powdered sugar and a LITTLE milk (a little goes a long way) and some pink food coloring...then just fill those hearts with sweet, sweet, sugary love!  It made my day for sure!  Happy Valley, y'all!
