Sandy Shenanigans

We had the extreme fortune this past weekend to spend it at my in-laws beach house in Ocean City, NJ.  Last year they rented a place for 2 weeks (you can read about it here...when Heather was there to join us!) and it was great fun for both the kids and the adults.  Everything worked out so great that they rented it for a month this year!  Every morning we walked the boardwalk in the morning while both kids slept in the stroller from about 9:30 to 11 (go sun tiring the chitlins out!!!)...and that bought us enough nap time to head to the beach for 2 hours.  We ate lunch and snacks on the beach, built and destroyed sand castles, and jumped over a multitude of waves.  Despite Hunter being terrified of the sand (wtf?) and the waves (understandable) at first....after an hour of whining....we couldn't get that child away from the water.  Ocean City is a great family destination, and I can't wait to go back!
