Franky the Door

This Franken Door has been living in the back of my mind for a while now. How easy is this?! Who doesn't have some extra paper or cardstock or foam or felt laying around? This is definitely a work-what-you-got kind of project, which are usually our favorites!

Supplies - white paper, black paper, pen, bowls, and scissors. Oh and some adhesive. I guess I grabbed that after I took the pic.

I used mixing bowls as templates for the eyes. Circles are a little harder to cut freehand. Take the easy route and use a bowl and trace it first. Work smarter, not harder, as they say.

While you're catching up on your dvr'd shows, you can cut and stick. Before you finish watching an episode of Ellen, you'll have a little something like this:

Here's what Hubby will see when he walks up the stairs this evening and goes "What the heck did you do today?!" Ha Ha! Like I said (here), there's never enough Halloween in our house. I just wish I had a grand entrance and porch to deck out like my inspiration pic! Sheesh!

How are you decorating your door? We're always looking for new ideas or twists on old favorites. Got any?

What did we ever do without the internet? :)
